Chic Dambach was founding board chair when CityLit Project incorporated in 2004. He previously served as President and CEO of the Alliance for Peacebuilding, Operation Respect, and the National Peace Corps Association among other organizations. For many years Chic was a consultant for BoardSource, the country's foremost organization dedicated to advancing the public good by building exceptional nonprofit boards. He is the author of Structures and Practices of Nonprofit Boards and the memoir Exhaust the Limits: The Life and Times of a Global Peacebuilder.

Lyles is a development and marketing professional with 15 years of non-profit management experience, including Deputy Director of Individual Giving at Baltimore Center Stage, Grants Manager at Children's National Health System, Director of Development and Marketing at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, and Director of Marketing and Publications Manager at The Engineers Club. He currently serves as Communications Director for SeKON, a Washington, DC area federal contractor.
