Registration Opens for the Literary Marketplace at the 2019 CityLit Festival

CityLit Project is now accepting Literary Marketplace registrations In preparation for the award-winning CityLit Festival, to be held again this year  at the University of Baltimore's William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center, in partnership with University of Baltimore's Klein Family School of Communications.

The popular LITERARY MARKETPLACE will be held in the atrium of the Business Center (corner of Mount Royal Ave and N. Charles Street), where visitors access information, buy books, and congregate throughout the day-long CityLit Festival.

Vendors can begin to set up at 9 a.m. (Vendors will not be admitted to the Business Center before 9 a.m.).


A modest nonrefundable $20 fee for exhibitors is required and there are only 34 spots available (each spot = 1/2 table).

Registration deadline is April 15 or while spots last (first come, first served)... So reserve your spot in the Literary Marketplace today!

To register, exhibitors must do so with a credit card online by going to CityLit's secure "donation" page and follow the instructions as if you were making a $20 donation:

1. Click here to go to our secure donation / registration page.

2. Make a one-time gift in the amount of $20.

3. Note the following in the COMMENTS box:

-- NAME exhibiting under (your name, a writer's pseudonym you may use, organization's name, journal's name, etc.)

-- One sentence DESCRIPTION of you, your service, your organization's mission etc. (Your mission must be literary arts-related (ex. small press, author, literary magazine, writing workshops, reading series, etc.)

-- Your WEB SITE address

-- Your CELL PHONE number

4. Click Submit


Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two vendors will share each 6-foot table. All sales transactions and personal property are the responsibility of exhibitors.
