CityLit is thrilled to introduce an artist new to us, but known by many. TYLER MOONLIGHT is an enigma … Born and raised in Annapolis, MD, he is a singer, musician, producer, and music engineer. He started making his own music at the age of 18. Inspired by artists and bands such as Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Michael Franks, P-Funk, Kamasi Washington, Chaka Khan, and many others, he made a vow to bring people to the moon with music. He resides in Baltimore and has played for a host of amazing local talent. He believes soul music is the ultimate source of spiritual healing. He seeks daily to embody the mysteries of its frequency. Black Assets shares, “Tyler Moonlight is the very definition of a divine gift. A vessel through which music flows effortlessly, he embodies artistry in its purest form. A dynamic multi-instrumentalist and soul artist, his sound feels otherworldly, like something beyond this earth.
